The Importance of Having a Plan

Too many people approach their financial futures without a plan and hope the 401K fairy will be there for them when they retire from their jobs at the age of 65, if they are lucky. I don’t know about you but I want to reach the beaches of endless mai-tais and beautiful sunsets much earlier than 65!  Working until 65 means you would have spent at least 40 years working and to top it off, you only received 70% of what you earned because of taxes.
